So in truth I have used it once since I got it and on my first use, I felt some slight volume and the shedding was small. I loved the smell and so did my hair stylist. Loved the texture of the hair and the smell of the product. Also my hair feels softer.
I could also feel that the itching I usually feel has reduced so I believe on continues usage I will have other reviews to give on it. But so far on the oil application, I could see some growth with my edges as well. Thanks Jo. Would really love to also get it for my Sis, so saving up to get her a kit

I have used the entire range for 3 washes now. Last week was my 3rd and I can say my hair texture has improved greatly. My hair is very brittle so it easily snaps, however after using the Mega thick range I have seen considerable change in the elasticity, bounce and volume. I do wash my own hair so I track the hair loss on each wash. I still loose hair but it is not as overwhelming. Personally I love the hair oil, the conditioner and the leave in.
If I would spend money on hair products again, I am definitely coming back to jo_naturalis.

Having finished and enjoyed the effects and taste of Skin gummies from Jo Naturalis, seeing the Mega Thick Dream Hair set, in December and as part of the sales, just got me curious… The process on the website was seamless. I even tried the payment plan the delivery was non dramatic…lol
I got a set (with gifts) and waited to test it well, as I usually do with first time use of new products. I had braids on 4th January 2024 and used only the Oil and Leave-in Conditioner till I unbraided 7 weeks later(26th February 2024) …. And I was pleasantly surprised at:
– First ,the texture and softness of my growth… And I was 19 weeks post relaxer….
– Secondly, by the growth that I had over the weeks… It was measurable to my regular 6 month stretch growth…
– Thirdly, my edges have furry hair in areas I thought I was genetically bald at..
– Fourth, the breakage and shedding was halved for the duration I had the braids in…
– And lastly, the smell of the 2 products is sweet, like candy.
I used the other products subsequently and the results were as expected… exceptional with nice fruity fragrance… My hair turned out to feel stronger but soft and more manageable with fluffy undergrowth… And detangling was a walk in the park… I am thinking of pushing my usual 6 month relaxer stretch to 7 or maybe 8 months… I currently have braids in hopefully for another 6 weeks…
I am stuck with Jo Naturalis like Super glue… Lol 😅 Thankfully Mani Beauty is a few kilometres away from me so stocking up on products wouldn’t have distance as a barrier.

As a natural hair enthusiast (from 2019) that loves to give my hair the best (with a simple routine) I would 💯 recommend Jo naturalis with my eyes closed. Trust me, I’ve tried a decent number of brands (both local and international) and Jo naturalis Mega Thick Dream Hair is in a class of it’s own. You get value for your money. Aside the quality,the quantity is also good: the containers are FILLED with the products. The products also smell divine.They smell like something made for a princess. Madam Jo did not lie when she said the products are concentrated.Overall,it was a mind blowing experience 😍 (general pro tip: rub the product in your palm before applying to your hair)
Here is my detailed review of each product:
Conditioner:
I was impressed with how easy it was to detangle my hair with the conditioner.I usually shy away from using my conditioner as a prepoo because most conditioners cannot do the job and I end up wasting the product(using too much to achieve a simple task) .The best part is after detangling my already thick hair with the conditioner, the bottle looked like I didn’t use it- it was still full. In short, a little goes a long way.
Shampoo:
The shampoo gives the best of both worlds: it cleans thoroughly and at the same time keeps the hair moisturized.I washed my hair 3 times so I got more of the clarifying effect. Even at that point of super clean (stripped) hair, my hair did not tangle up to even talk of matting up. There’s also this moderate mint sensation which is gentle on my scalp and surrounding skin.
Deep conditioner: It had amazing slip and as I said earlier, Madam Jo said the truth: it is a concentrated formulation. The more water I add, the more slip I get and slip is what you need to prevent hair breakage. The steamer I got as a gift with my package made the experience better as my hair soaked up all the goodness of the conditioner better with its help. Rinsing it out was easy. Honestly,my hair felt like silk at that point.
Leave -in : My favorite part because what is this goodness 😍 kw33. Staaap. The consistency is perfect.Mese it flows like fresh paint 😂. I was impressed. The best part is when I applied it: it just melted into my hair. It became one with my hair.It is easy to spread in my hair too. My hair loves it so much and I’m confident yours will too. Most brands slack when it comes to their leave-in in conditioners but take my word when I say JoNaturalis is not one of them. As for my scrunchie, I used it the moment I received my package so you can imagine I used it again and will continue using it.
Heat protectant:
I carried it along to the salon and my blow-dry was the smoothest I had experienced yet. The hair dresser did not struggle with my hair…..like the difference was loud in the salon. Also, unlike past experiences ,my hair did not become frizzy/shrink as they worked on my braids so the parting was smooth from start to end no pain at all.
In all, I want to say believe the hype because the Mega Thick Dream Hair set is what we say it is 💯. Thank God I discovered JoNaturalis last year and bought this set this year. Jo naturalis take your flowers 💐🌹💐.
